We plan to wait until closer to fulfillment to enter & charge you for the physical items on your survey to get the most accurate/fair fulfillment prices. Hey Everyone. so the votes are in. Comic book coloring one by a long shot. For those of you who voted for digital painting, don’t be discouraged. A lot of the rendering techniques used for painting can also be applied to the coloring process. In fact, if you’re not used to coloring someone else’s line art it can really be a valuable oppertunity for focus on the skills specific to rendering and coloring.
To access the challenge please go to either our backers only facebook or discord and download the line art. (Or download it from the link below) The art is from Legendary artists Val Jr and is from the first book we ever published called Light. The work Val did on that book is really incredible and we hope you have fun working with this page.
The deadline is is Tuesday March 4th 12 midnight EST. You must post your work either to the facebook or discord group.
You were not not required to vote to participate. We know we said that but we were just trying to get as many votes as possible :) anyone can enter.

The printing for Facial Anatomy has already begun. We had to do a bit of color correction of the Colorpedia 3 books which delayed it by a day or two and is totally common. That title should go into print by this weekend. We will post pics and videos of the printed books as soon as we receive them.

We made the mistake of saying you can find the resource folder under your past surveys in Kickstarter. It's actually just under "your surveys". Sorry about that.
We are going to be announcing the dates and challenge for our art event for the Meta Quest 3 very soon. This is really cool prize. So if you're not into gaming or VR, this would make a excellent birthday or Christmas present for someone in your life. Don't miss your chance to win this incredible gadget.
The contest will either be on comic book coloring or digital painting. To enter the contest you must to either our backers only Facebook group, or our backers only discord server and leave a comment saying if you want comic book coloring or digital painting. Our next Colorpedia release Shrouds & Shadows is just around the the corner. We're looking at a March 11 release date but that could change. As mentioned in our previous update, we of course planned to get Colorpedia 3 in your hands before launching this new project but the delays in getting Cp3 released has forced our hand and we must release the next project or its going to mess up our entire release schedule for the year. We know some of you may not love that, and we totally understand, but rest assured we have done a ton of campaigns at this point. We are one of the most successful publishers in the world in the KS platform and we have never failed to fulfil our campaigns and we never will. There will just be a short overlap on this one.
Colorpedia 3 and it's bundled books are printing right now and we will post video and pictures of the printed physical books as soon as they're sent to us.
We always release a free item for returning backers with our new campaigns. This items it the biggest in terms of cost we have ever done. We got asked about this in the comments, so let’s clear it up here. Originally, Shrouds & Shadows was meant to launch after this campaign fulfilled. But delays with our contributors pushed everything back, throwing off our entire release schedule.
Now we’re in a situation where Shrouds & Shadows has to launch while CP3 is in freight heading to our fulfillment center. It’s not ideal, and we know some of you don’t want to back another book until you’ve received this one. Totally understandable—we wouldn’t have planned it this way if we had a choice.
That said, we’re posting photos of the CP3 books on skids at the printer as soon as we get them. That way, you can see for yourself that they’re printed and en route.
We’ve had to juggle overlapping campaigns before, and we always make it work. Without getting too deep into it, running a growing small business means constantly creating and releasing new projects to stay ahead. It’s a tricky balance. But in the last six years, we’ve fulfilled over 20,000 orders worldwide. We’ve never failed to deliver, and we never will.
And honestly? Shrouds & Shadows might be one of the coolest, most exciting bundles of books we’ve ever put together. If you’re into horror, dark art, or just killer creative inspiration, you’re going to love it.
So yes, Shrouds & Shadows is launching in a few weeks. We pushed it back as far as possible, but delaying it any further would throw off our entire 2025 release plan. We appreciate your patience and support—it truly means the world.
